Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

God
We believe the Eternal Godhead exists as ONE God in THREE persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of all people, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:16)
Christ’s Death & Resurrection
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day. We believe that He personally appeared to His disciples.
(John 21; 1 Corinthians 15:1-19; Romans 4:25)
Scripture
We believe that the Bible is inspired, authoritative, and sufficient. As such, God's Word is the final word on matters of faith and practice. (2Timothy 3:16-17)

Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe in the salvation by grace, through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Christ. We are called to obey the gospel in faith, repentance, confession, & baptism (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5-6; 10:9-10)
Baptism
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sins.
(Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:37-39; Galatians 3:26-29; 1 Peter 3:21)
Communion
We believe in weekly observance of Communion, commonly called the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:28-32)
The Church
We believe that the local gathering of believers, known as the church, is Christ’s body. This body is called to change the world with the message of Jesus. The primary functions of the church include sharing the gospel, which includes encouraging one another, serving our community, and worshiping regularly.
(Acts 2:42-47; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4)
Spirit-Filled Living
We believe in a Spirit-filled life of discipleship. We strive to live holy lives as an expression of Christian faith, trusting in God's power.
(1Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 5:18-21; Romans 8)
